“You can’t leave now! It’s peak season!”

This is how Jim and Meghan are teased by Brian, Liz and the rest of their friends and family at the end of each summer as they reluctantly leave Jamestown, Rhode Island.

The August waters of Mackerel Cove have reached perfection. Sea breezes provide just the right amount of relief from the late summer sun. Spirits are high as we unwind, lounging in our beach chairs with a cold drink in our hands. Not a care in the world.

Laughing. Telling stories. Dreaming of future plans. That’s PeakSeason.

It’s not a timeframe or a location. It’s a moment in time you never want to end. 

It's relaxing on the beach with friends. Cheering on little grass-stained soccer champs. Breathing in crisp mountain air before carving the snow beneath your skis. Or just sipping early morning coffee on the porch with the one you love, without needing to say a word. 

PeakSeason is a celebration of life’s Ultimate Everyday Moments.

Meghan & Jim Schubert

Co-founders of PeakSeason. Home base: Alpharetta, Georgia. Love to travel with every extra minute and penny. Parents to three children who keep them very busy.

Liz & Brian Tretinik

Co-founders of PeakSeason. Home base: Milton, Massachussetts. Love a hot tea in the morning, an active day, and a book at night. Enjoy traveling (especially to Italy), skiing in the winter, hiking in the fall, and beaching it during the summer. Spend rainy or snowy days with music, wine or beer and a jigsaw puzzle. Parents to two girls who keep them too busy with soccer, lacrosse, and basketball.

PeakSeason is about celebrating life's ultimate everyday momments.

But not everyone can recognize those moments.

According to the Alzheimers Association, nearly 6.5 million Americans are living with Alzheimers in 2022.  That number is projected to rise to nearly 13 million by 2050.

An estimated 11 million additional Americans serve as caretakers for people with Alzheimers.  Their burden often clouds their own ability to find, recognize and appreciate their PeakSeason moments.

The Owners of PeakSeason Ventures, LLC have felt the direct impact Alzheimers has, and has had, within their own families.

As a result, we donate 10% of our profits toward Alzheimers research and caretaker support.
